ZOLL’s products operate in moments where seconds matter. Their automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are widely recognized devices. But new connected features introduced a deeper layer of capability. The company needed a video that could clearly show how the technology works and why it matters, helping audiences understand the real-world value of faster alerts, better visibility and more coordinated emergency response.
Working in partnership with we approached the challenge as both a storytelling and visualization exercise. The product itself had to be presented with precision and clarity, while the message needed to convey urgency and real-world impact. So, we started by collaborating on style frames, storyboards and hyper-accurate product renders. And we ended up with a motion-driven piece that paired clean 3D product animation with narrative sequences that demonstrated how the system identifies nearby responders and mobilizes help when it matters most. Weekly working sessions kept the agency, client, and production team aligned as the concept evolved.
The result was a product film that made a complex feature easy to understand while preserving the gravity of the problem it solves. By combining technical clarity with a sense of urgency, the video helped ZOLL communicate both the functionality of the system and the mission behind it. Plus, it showed how connected AED technology can shorten the distance between a cardiac emergency and the help that saves a life.
